AVIATION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DAY
THE CHARLES TAYLOR MASTER MECHANIC AWARD
In 2002 California Senate Resolution SR70 declared May 24th “Aviation Maintenance Technician Day” in honor of Charles Taylor, the Wright brother's mechanic.
Since then, a small but determined and passionate group of aviation mechanics have continued to press for other states to follow. To date over 40 states have honored Taylor. For more information on these projects:
